The timetable is flexible and needs to be decided by the attendees, so this is just a suggestion based on US and NZ Men’s retreats.
NB: Workshops are run by volunteers and are optional to attend.
Afternoon spent getting to know each other, and Knitting Workshop 1 (Hosted by an attendee) Stash Exchange - bring in your old stash and swap for new. 7pm Three course dinner cooked by the Farmer’s wife (includes wine) who will also wash up! The rest of the evening to knit by the Inglenook fireplace, watch the flames, swap tales, make new friends and knit. Retire to your own room in the farmhouse or a two bedroom cottage, just feet away from the farmhouse.
9am Continental Breakfast 10.30 Tour of Colinette Yarns Factory, Llanfair Caereinion (see how they sort the yarn, dye and produce their fantastic fibre range). They are opening up their factory especially for us! 12.00 Refreshments/ and explore the unique Colinette Shop for inspiration and yarn gifts 13:00 Workshop 2 (hosted by an attendee) 15:00 Workshop 3 (hosted by an attendee) 19:00 Three course dinner cooked by the Farmer’s wife (includes wine) who will still wash up for us! The rest of the evening to knit by the Inglenook fireplace, watch the flames, swap tales, make new friends and knit. Maybe watch a DVD?
